For whitewater kayakers with prior experience, we offer advanced beginner courses on Class II–III rapids of the Soča Valley’s rivers in Slovenia.
These courses focus on developing the skills needed to take your kayaking to the next level, emphasizing control, safety, and finesse.
Our 2- to 5-day intermediate course provides in-depth instruction to help you refine your whitewater skills and build confidence on more challenging rapids. Bovec offers some fantastic whitewater sections, giving you the perfect opportunity to develop and master essential kayaking techniques.

Before taking this kayak course, you should...
Have at least 5 days kayaking experience on Class II rapids.
Know how to roll on flatwater.
Perform all basic strokes confidently.
Feel comfortable on moving water.
Be able to paddle in a straight line on flatwater.
Be able to safely self-rescue.
Intermediate Kayak course prices
The price depends on the number of kayak course participants, the departure date, and the course length.
Equipment rental and the Soča River pass (daily or weekly) are not included and must be purchased separately.

Ice is melting, learn to kayak.
Intermediate kayak course runs from April to October. All tours depart from Bovec. Morning activities usually start at 9 or 10 am, afternoon at 2 or 3 pm.Five-day course takes places every week from Monday to Friday. Two- and three-day weekend course takes place every week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.On request, extra days are possible.Advanced booking is strongly recommended.
