For whitewater kayakers with previous kayaking experience, we offer kayaking school for advanced beginner on Class II-III rapids of the Soča river in Slovenia. These course focus on the skills needed to advance to the next level of the sport with control, safety and finesse.
Our 2- to 5-day Intermediate course offer in-depth instruction to help you refine your whitewater skills and gain confidence in more difficult rapids. We have some fantastic sections of whitewater here in Bovec giving you the perfect opportunity to understand and develop those fundamental skills.

Before taking this kayak course you should
Have at least 5 days kayaking experience on Class II rapids.
Know how to roll on flatwater.
Perform all basic strokes confidently.
Feel comfortable on moving water.
Be able to paddle in a straight line on flatwater.
Be able to safely self-rescue.
Kayak course prices
The price depends on the number of kayak school participants, departure date & course length. Equipment rent and river pass are not included. Soča river pass (daily/weekly) can be purchased apart. The prices in the chart are shown for a group of 4 people.

Intermediate course runs from April to October. All tours depart from Bovec. Morning activities usually start at 9 am, afternoon at 2pm.Five-day course takes places every week from Monday to Friday. Two- and three-day weekend course takes place every week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.On request, extra days are possible.Advanced booking is strongly recommended.
